Job summary

UMass Boston is seeking a Simulation Operations Manager to lead CCER operations, directing simulation technologies, facilities, inventory, and staff to support undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs.

You will supervise two Simulation Operations Specialists, manage budgets, and develop policies, while collaborating with faculty, IT, facilities, EH&S, and external partners to advance simulation-based education and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in nursing, educational leadership, higher education, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in simulation operations or related field.
• Experience managing complex workflows, schedules, or facilities; familiarity with inventory systems and educational tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning to support growth of simulation education programs.
• Oversee simulation technologies, facilities, inventory, and staff performance.
• Manage budgets, purchasing plans, and resource allocation.
• Develop policies and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with faculty, IT, facilities, EH&S, vendors, and external partners.
