Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join the Combined Hand Surgery program, uniting Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery in a unified academic hand and upper extremity care model.

The successful candidate will develop a comprehensive elective hand practice, participate in a busy hand trauma service, educate trainees at all levels, and contribute to the clinical, educational, and scholarly missions of UC Davis Health.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
• Evidence of scholarly/clinical/translational research and ability to obtain extramural funding or run clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hand/upper-extremity care.
• Participate in hand trauma call within the CHS program.
• Develop an elective hand/upper-extremity surgical practice.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students; contribute to scholarly activities.
