Job summary

UC Davis Health Combined Hand Surgery (CHS) program seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join a growing academic department. The role includes building an elective hand practice, participating in busy trauma service, and educating trainees at all levels.

The candidate will contribute to clinical, translational, and educational missions and join a nationally recognized department expanding clinical programs and research. Rank: Assistant to Associate Professor.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and California licensure eligibility.
• Fellowship in Hand Surgery required; board certification/eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Academic track record: clinical, translational or educational research expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hand/upper extremity care.
• Develop elective hand/upper extremity practice within CHS.
• Engage in teaching residents, fellows and medical students.
