Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (South Sacramento) seeks a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand/upper-extremity surgeon to join a collegial team.

Expect an elective and non-elective upper-extremity focus, collaboration with skilled teams, and a reasonable OR schedule with on-call trauma coverage.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained orthopedic hand/upper-extremity surgeon.
• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedics.
• Must be eligible for CA medical license.

Responsibilities

• Upper extremity surgical focus for elective and non-elective cases.
• Collaborative model with physician assistants and surgical assistants.
• Two days per week of OR time; call ~1 in 9 with trauma coverage.
• Supportive infrastructure for outpatient care and surgical coordination.
