Job summary

The University of Toledo invites applications for COMLS Financial Operations Administrator 1 in the Physiology and Pharmacology department. Reporting to the chair, the administrator will oversee fiscal operations, compliance, and employee/faculty employment needs for the assigned area(s).

This role collaborates with faculty, staff, chairs, research professionals, and clinic administrators to support department activities and strategic plans, including budgeting for programs and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or accounting required.
• Master’s degree in business administration, management or accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of related administrative management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage fiscal operations and compliance for assigned areas.
• Coordinate employee and faculty employment needs with department chairs.
• Collaborate with chairs, faculty, staff, and clinic administrators to support programs.
• Establish department business mission and goals in alignment with college priorities.
• Assist with development of business plans for new programs and strategic initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or Accounting

Master’s degree in business administration, Management or Accounting

1-3 years of experience in administrative management
