Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational diploma required.
  • Four to five years of job-related experience.
  • Experience planning and coordinating large-scale events in a higher education or nonprofit setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive portfolio of departmental events including lectures, retreats, alumni events, and award ceremonies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and event timelines for multiple concurrent events.
  • Coordinate event registrations, RSVP tracking, and attendee communications; manage surveys using Qualtrics and other tools.
  • Serve as primary liaison with faculty, staff, students, alumni, sponsors, vendors, and external partners to facilitate event planning and execution.
