Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Endocrinology is seeking an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to deliver clinical care while educating medical students, residents and fellows. The role emphasizes teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration in a tertiary referral setting.

You will work with a strong diabetes education team and have access to an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with Endocrinology board certification/eligibility.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Able to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Work in specific endocrinology areas (thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
• Utilize ultrasound suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
