Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Endocrinology seeks an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide clinical care and educate medical students, residents and fellows.

The role includes participation in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to diverse endocrinopathies at a tertiary referral center, and collaboration with a strong diabetes education team. Training in ultrasonography for thyroid FNAs is available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology; strong commitment to teaching.
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team including CDCES.
• Utilize ultrasound suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Contribute to patient care and research in a collegial, multidisciplinary setting.
