Job summary

Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows within the Division of Endocrinology.

The role includes participation in multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to a wide spectrum of endocrinopathies at a tertiary referral center, collaboration with a strong diabetes education team, thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs, and teaching across levels.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Team-oriented, multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES).
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
