Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Division of Cardiology. The role covers the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

The candidate will join a team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers in the Capital Region's leading academic medical system. Applicants should be board-certified/eligible and committed to education and research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Educate and develop fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
