Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at Assistant or Associate Professor level to join a growing academic faculty in a collaborative environment. The role covers outpatient EP clinics, inpatient consultations, ablations and device implantations, with opportunities to teach fellows and residents.

The successful candidate will hold an MD/DO with board eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, complete ACGME fellowship, and be eligible for

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
