Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Division of Cardiology. The appointee will participate in the full spectrum of EP care within a collaborative academic environment.

The candidate should bring board certification/eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, a completed EP fellowship, and a commitment to teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Eligible for NY licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
