Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Student Success team is looking for an Academic Advisor II to guide students through their academic journeys, craft degree plans, and connect them with university resources to promote persistence and degree completion.

This role also acts as an experienced resource within the advising organization, supporting staff development, training, quality assurance, and process improvement efforts, leveraging independent judgment and collaboration to enhance the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in academic advising or student services within higher education.
• Experience supporting students in higher education with knowledge of academic processes and resources.
• Knowledge of academic advising practices, student success principles, university policies and degree requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with independent judgment.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to manage competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with SIS, CRM, MS Office and university technologies.
