Job summary

Charlotte Community Health Clinic in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Insurance Navigator to assist patients with ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid enrollment while educating staff on program options and eligibility. Must obtain CAC certification within 90 days, or hold CAC already; strong communication, cultural competence, and ability to travel between sites as needed; bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Certification: CAC or ability to obtain CAC within 90 days.
• Experience with ACA/Marketplace eligibility, public charge regulations, Medicaid, and other public programs.

Responsibilities

• Keeps up to date with ACA information and issues.
• Conducts educational ACA workshops on-site and at community sites.
• Attends community meetings and trainings to inform staff and partners.
• Documents contacts, maintains files, and submits program statistics.
• Collaborates with community partners to ensure access to health insurance education.
