ABB is seeking a Technical Support Expert for PLC, HMI, and Connectivity in New Berlin, WI. The role provides advanced technical support to customers and internal teams, covering AC500 PLCs, CP600 HMIs, and drive connectivity.

Hybrid work arrangement in New Berlin is expected, with duties spanning troubleshooting, training collaboration, and warranty activities. Candidates should have 6+ years of related experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and travel readiness of

Qualifications

6+ years of technical support, field service, or engineering experience with PLCs, HMIs and drives.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Competent with the AC500 PLC and CP600 HMI products.
Willingness to travel 5-10% and must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

Provide technical support to ABB customers, sales channel, product management, and drive services.
Lead troubleshooting, commissioning, part identification, and warranty evaluation for AC500 and CP600 platforms.
Collaborate with engineering and product management to stay updated on product releases.
Create internal tech notes, presentations, and legacy documents for support teams.
Support training content development for AC500, CP600, and connectivity.
Document each case in Salesforce and maintain safety/work rules.
