Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Technical Support professional to act as the SME for AC500 PLCs and CP600 HMIs, including connectivity to ABB drives. You will deliver expert technical support via phone and email, assist with commissioning and troubleshooting, and coordinate with Engineering and Product Management for timely updates and quality feedback.

The role involves leading technical writing projects, developing training content for AC500, CP600, and connectivity topics, and supporting warranty

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical support, field service, or engineering experience with PLCs and HMIs.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Must be competent with AC500 PLC and CP600 HMI products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME for AC500 PLC, CP600 HMI, and ABB drives connectivity.
• Provide technical support via phone and email for advanced issues; assist commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Training to disseminate product updates and create training content.
