ABL Operations Architect – Jack Henry Core

Job summary

Milestone Bank is seeking an Operations Specialist to build the operational backbone of the ABL team and lead the transition to the Jack Henry core platform. This role requires independent judgment and a hands-on approach to defining workflows, controls, and documentation for a line of business without a preexisting playbook.

You will work closely with the ABL and Bank Operations teams to configure and optimize ABL processes on Jack Henry, influence design, and guide the team through change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent coursework and experience.
• Hands-on experience with the Jack Henry core banking platform is required.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions with little guidance and accountability for outcomes.
• Prior experience in commercial banking operations; asset-based lending experience preferred.
• Experience independently building or overhaul operational procedures and documentation from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the day-to-day operational framework for ABL.
• Collaborate to design ABL operating procedures and desk-top procedures.
• Build ABL workflows within the Jack Henry core and advise on configuration.
• Evaluate collateral, borrowing base, and covenant information with independent analysis.
• Work with the ABL team through deal lifecycle onboarding and servicing.
• Identify gaps and drive practical improvements with latitude to evolve the operating model.
• Lead change management for core conversion and transitioning procedures.
• Maintain audit-ready records for controls, audits, and exams.
• Interpret bank policy and regulatory requirements for ABL scenarios.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
