Job summary

Johnson Barrow, a leading HVAC manufacturers’ representative in the Pacific Northwest, seeks a driven ABB VFD Sales Engineer with an electrical or mechanical engineering background and a proven sales track record to grow ABB VFD sales in our region.

You will promote ABB VFDs to engineers, contractors and building owners, develop key relationships, and collaborate with the sales team to integrate drive solutions into projects while tracking market trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in technical products or solutions.
• Familiarity with ABB VFDs or similar products is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell ABB VFDs to clients within the Pacific Northwestern region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless integration of VFD and motor solutions into client projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through planning, execution, and monitoring of activities.
• Provide technical guidance to clients addressing their needs.
