Job summary
ACES Bassett Road School Grove Program is seeking full-time ABA Trainers to deliver high-quality educational services to students aged 3-22 with autism or related developmental disorders. Trainers work 1:1 and in small groups, implementing discrete trial instruction and natural environment training under BCBA supervision.
Ideal applicants hold a high school diploma and demonstrate a commitment to learning, teamwork, reliability, and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma and show a desire to learn and positively engage with supervisors, peers, and students.
- Ability to accept and incorporate feedback, maintain excellent attendance, and be timely in a fast-paced learning environment.
- Experience working with students in 6-12 or transition-age with behavioral/instructional support needs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in 1:1 and small group settings using ABA techniques.
- Implement discrete trial instruction and natural environment training.
- Support students to increase independent functioning and academic skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with BCBA and Special Education staff to provide high-quality services.
