Job summary

Helping Hands Family seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through play-based ABA therapy in clinics, homes, and community settings.

You will implement sessions designed by a BCBA, collect data, and collaborate with the team to monitor progress while building essential skills for daily living and social interaction. Comprehensive training is provided with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in human services preferred.
• Comfort working with children and families.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication skills with clients’ families.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to complete RBT training.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team.
