Qualifications

• Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goals
• Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred
• Experience working with children
• Must have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• All ABA Technicians will be required to complete or provide proof of completion of the 40-Hour RBT course. Verbal Beginnings will provide the course to those who need to complete it.

Responsibilities

• ABA Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills
• Collects and records data to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and works in collaboration with the clinical supervisor to update the treatment plan as necessary
