Job summary

My Team ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in children’s homes and community settings. We train new entrants with the RBT 40-hour course and support your path to certification.

This role emphasizes dependable, patient professionals who communicate clearly in English, maintain ethical standards, and collaborate with BCBA’s and families. Full-time opportunities include benefits, ongoing training, and growth toward BCBA certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Diploma or College Degree required
• RBT 40-hour training is required prior to working with a client
• Experience: One year experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required
• Dependability: Consistency and reliability are crucial for the individual's success
• Knowledge of Autism and related behavioral interventions preferred
• Integrity: You must perform your role with the utmost integrity and professionalism
• Positivity & Patience: It's all about a positive attitude!
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Background Check: Willing to have background check completed
• Transportation: Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in the home or community setting.
• Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21
• Conduct discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and utilize a variety of skill building and reinforcement methods in line with the treatment plan during sessions.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions for all programs targeted and enter into EMR daily.
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA, other RBT team members, clinical directors, and families to support the clients’ needs
• Receive Supervision from a BCBA at a minimum of 5% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around all clients and families.
• Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs
• Able to effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations smoothly.
• Maintain proactive communication with supervisor for feedback and guidance.
