Job summary

Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking an RBT to conduct 1:1 ABA therapy with children and young adults in home or community settings. You will implement behavioral plans, gather data, and collaborate with BCBAs to support pediatric clients.

The role emphasizes communication with families, adherence to BACB supervision guidelines, and reliable transportation to client homes or community sites. No travel stipend is specified.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients.
• Must possess a High School Degree.
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, paraprofessional, or related education/childcare fields can support the transition to the RBT role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members regarding treatment delivery.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around child patients and their families as BACB guidelines require.
• Enter data and all trials daily for each pediatric patient across programs.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
• Other duties as assigned.
