Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in Indiana is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-12. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with the BCBA to track progress.

The role is full-time, center-based with on-site teamwork and growth opportunities through Bierman University and Propel. A high school diploma is required, and fingerprint clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
• Valid fingerprint clearance card prior to employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the team and clients.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients (your future BFFs!).
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data, and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding the client’s progress (with guidance from the BCBA).
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire functional and technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Follow the guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Work towards becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), if not one already.
