Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to children. You will implement behavior intervention plans created by supervising BCBAs and collect real-time progress data using clinical software.

You will work closely with families and caregivers to ensure skills generalize across settings, maintaining a safe, positive, and engaging session environment that supports meaningful outcomes for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or eligibility to obtain it
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field is a plus
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
