Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking an RBT to work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home, school, or clinic settings, delivering individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate data collection, and collaboration with families to support meaningful skill development, while maintaining a safe and engaging environment for sessions.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience: Experience with children with autism or developmental delays.
• Reliability: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• As an RBT, work 1:1 with children diagnosed with ASD in home, school, or clinic settings, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
