Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings. You will deliver evidence-based interventions under supervision and maintain accurate data on progress.

The role emphasizes collaboration with supervising BCBAs and families to support consistent skill development, safety, and engagement during sessions. A passion for helping children and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (or eligibility)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Psychology or related field is a plus
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
