Job summary

Constellation Kids in Richmond, TX is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver ABA-based clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols. You will collect data, train parents, and work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst across home, clinic, community, and school settings.

The position emphasizes implementing intervention strategies, using reinforcement techniques, and maintaining thorough documentation with caregivers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent.
• One year of direct relevant experience with youth and families who require behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under BCBA supervision.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using specialized techniques.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicates with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides accurate documentation of intervention, goals and objectives.
• Facilitates transitions between agencies and programs as service provision changes.
• Identifies emergency situations and ensures child safety.
• Provides direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follows prescribed behavior protocols.
• Collects, records, and summarizes data on client behavior.
• Assists with parent training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Communicates progress to parents and caregivers as instructed.
