Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Behavior Analyst/Midlevel Supervisor in Pasadena, CA, to provide clinical support and case management under a BCBA. You will supervise Behavior Technicians, develop goals and intervention plans, and collaborate with families, schools, and caregivers to implement behavior change plans.

The role requires a master’s degree (MA in ABA preferred), BACB coursework enrollment, and experience with children with autism or related disorders.

Qualifications

• Completed master’s degree in social work, human services, drug and alcohol, education, counseling, psychology, or criminal justice; MA in ABA preferred.
• At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or related disorders.
• Experience delivering behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings.
• Enrolled in approved BACB courses and preparing for BCBA exam.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader.
• Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload.
• Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
• Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
• Assists in updating behavior change plans with current progress on behavior goals and skill acquisition goals.
• Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Provides behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the behavioral change plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
