Job summary

Cortica is seeking a Lead Behavior Trainer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. You will mentor and train new Behavior Technicians while also delivering direct behavior-analytic services to autistic children and others with neurodevelopmental differences.

The role supports Cortica’s Whole Child Approach across clinic, home, school, and community settings, with travel within the region. We value collaboration, safety, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience delivering ABA services to children.
• Current RBT or BCAT certification preferred/required.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel 20–40 miles daily.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train Behavior Technicians during orientation and ongoing sessions.
• Provide direct behavior-analytic services to autistic children.
• Lead trainings and presentations with Learning & Development.
• Support credentialing and ensure BCAT preparation and testing.
• Document data, session notes, and EMR entries accurately.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to coordinate treatment plans.
