Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health (EBH) seeks a Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership, supervise BCBAs, and mentor staff while maintaining high clinical quality. The role involves supervising teams, guiding case work, and ensuring robust training and hiring processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification and LBA licensure in Texas.
• Minimum 5 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year working as a BCBA.
• Knowledge of Catalyst data collection platform and Excel graphing.
• Strong technical writing skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interviewing and hiring decisions for BCBAs, CMs, and RBTs.
• Complete and oversee new hire and ongoing clinical training for BCBAs.
• Collaborate on cases and mentor staff to expand competencies.
• Implement Flight Path training and supervision for clinical track RBTs.
• Oversee BCBAs implementing Flight Path training and supervision with RBTs.
• Oversee intake process including visits, assessments, and treatment recommendations.
• Ensure clinical quality by reviewing treatment plans and conducting observations.
• Train staff on Safety Sense physical management techniques.
• Oversee technician training by Qualified Trainers.
• Manage caseload (2–4 FTE) and overflow cases as needed.
