Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Clinical Director to lead clinical teams and ensure the highest standard of care for learners with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will mentor BCBAs, oversee training, and guide clinical programs.

The role includes hiring support, treatment plan oversight, and ensuring protocol compliance within a collaborative culture. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification with BACB and Texas LBA license.
• Minimum of 5 years working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of 1 year working as a BCBA.
• Knowledge of Catalyst data collection platform and Excel graphing.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience presenting to small and large groups of parents/caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
• Complete and oversee new hire and ongoing clinical training for BCBAs.
• Collaborate on cases as needed and mentor to expand scope of competence.
• Implement Flight Path training and supervision with clinical track RBTs.
• Oversee BCBAs implementing Flight Path training and supervision with clinical track RBTs.
• Assist with new patient intake including assessments and clinic visits.
• Ensure clinical quality by reviewing treatment plans and conducting quality checks.
• Train BCBAs, technicians and OSS on Safety Sense techniques.
• Oversee new hire technician training implemented by Qualified Trainers.
• Manage assigned caseload (2-4 FTE) and overflow cases as needed.
