Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental challenges. You will support social and communication skills, document progress, and implement BCBA-created behavior plans.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and reduce repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
