Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. You will work 1:1 with children with autism, following treatment plans under a supervising BCBA.

This role offers in-home service delivery, mileage reimbursement, and a clear path for BCBA mentorship. We provide comprehensive training, RBT certification support, and a flexible schedule designed to balance work and life.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 40-hour RBT coursework and be compliant with 2026 requirements.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Interest or experience in ABA, education, childcare, or psychology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA-based services to children with autism in-home or in-clinic settings.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
• Accurately track data and progress in real-time during sessions.
• Support families by reinforcing skills at home and in natural environments.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training

Scheduling & Compensation

• $18- $23/hour depending on qualifications and market
• Work close to home; we serve families throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areas
