Job summary

Steps Therapy is seeking an ABA Behavior Therapist in Mill Valley, CA for part-time management-level work. The role involves delivering 1:1 intensive behavioral therapy in person, implementing ABA strategies, and documenting progress with data sheets.

You will collaborate with supervisors, families, and professionals to tailor lessons and maintain confidentiality, with competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities in a client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing undergraduate studies in psychology or education field is a plus.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Experience using ABA-based strategies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy.
• Carry out individualized lessons and behavior plans as directed by the supervisor.
• Utilize ABA instructional strategies including discrete trial teaching, natural environment training, incidental teaching, pivotal response training, and verbal behavior.
• Record the child’s progress, graph data, and update data sheets.
• Attend team meetings and external professional workshops as needed.
