Job summary

Steps Therapy seeks a Program Director to design and implement behavior intervention programs for young children with special needs. You will train families and supervise Behavior Technicians to reinforce learned skills and drive progress toward goals.

Responsibilities include program oversight, data monitoring, staff development, and parent training, with in-person client service in the San Mateo area. Bachelor's or Master's coursework in ABA is preferred, with BACB sequence experience valued.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Master's program and a desire to pursue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Experience implementing programs and working in ABA
• Experience developing goals and writing behavior analytic programs
• Commitment to developing and leading teams of Behavior Technicians
• Experience with parent training/coaching, report writing, conducting meetings, and analyzing data
• Ability to keep organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Employment conditional upon satisfactory background check

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly and bi-weekly oversight to individual programs to ensure programs and sound, and children are making progress towards goals
• Work closely with, and collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Monitor data paths to ensure treatment integrity and continued child progress
• Ensure staff development and training in implementation of program
• Participate in parent training and monthly team meetings
• Participate in progress reporting
