Steps Therapy in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead 1:1 and group-based interventions for young children. The role is salaried exempt and on-site, with a focus on designing and implementing evidence-based behavior programs in client homes or schools.

You will train families, monitor progress with data graphs, and collaborate with therapists, parents, and the program team.

Qualifications

• BCBA license required.
• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in ABA.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of 1:1 home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy.
• Design individualized lessons and behavior plans that target developmental needs.
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies including DTT, NET, incidental teaching, and verbal behavior.
• Monitor progress and graphs to ensure growth; intervene as data changes.
• Update binder and data sheets; ensure staff follow the program as designed.
• Communicate progress with team and families; adjust interventions as needed.
• Attend team meetings and professional workshops; collaborate with others.
• Complete required progress reports and manage scheduling for sessions.
