Job summary

Steps Therapy in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, salaried exempt position with $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Some hourly nonexempt part-time options may be available.

In-person client services are required, with services primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. The BCBA will design and implement behavior intervention programs for young children with special needs, train families, and support the Program Director and

Qualifications

• BCBA license required.
• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in ABA, designing programs, and overseeing individuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage 1:1 home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy.
• Design individualized lessons and behavior plans to address developmental needs and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies (DTT, natural environment training, incidental teaching, PRT, verbal behavior).
• Monitor progress with graphs and data, intervene as needed to sustain progress.
• Maintain data sheets and ensure staff follow the program as designed.
