Steps Therapy in San Mateo, CA is seeking an ABA Behavior Therapist to provide 1:1 in-home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy on a part-time basis. You will implement ABA techniques and track progress for young children with special needs.

Starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience and certification. This in-person role emphasizes client services and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• ABA-based strategies experience is a plus.
• Undergraduate studies in psychology or education are a plus.
• Background check clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy.
• Carry out individualized lessons and behavior plans as directed by the supervisor.
• Utilize ABA instructional strategies.
• Record the child's progress and update data sheets.
• Attend team meetings and relevant workshops.
• Communicate progress and intervention changes with supervisors.
• Work with families, teammates, and other professionals.
• Maintain organized paperwork and schedules.
