Job summary

HANDS Center for Autism, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one ABA-based interventions in home and center settings, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans, collect data, and support families, with ongoing supervision and professional development.

Ideal candidates have 18+, HS diploma; experience with special needs; RBT preferred; valid driver’s license; compassionate, reliable, and able to lift

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma required; higher degrees preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience with children with special needs.
RBT certification preferred; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in home and center-based settings.
Run skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.
Complete daily program writing and data collection before end of shift.
Work with BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
Collect and accurately record data on clients’ progress.
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions.
