Job summary

HANDS Centerfor Autism, LLC is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA-based interventions for children in home and clinic settings in the Cary area. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans under BCBA supervision and collect ongoing data on progress.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma (BA/BS preferred), and reliable transportation. RBT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children/adolescents with special needs.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Must be caring, energetic, and detail-oriented.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in home and center settings.
• Run skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.
• Complete daily program writing and data collection before each shift.
• Work with BCBAs to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and accurately record data on client progress.
• Maintain and protect well-being of clients during sessions.
