Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will build trusting relationships with children and families and contribute to meaningful progress in communication and social skills.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, well-organized, and comfortable documenting progress and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ABA therapy experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress on treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate progress and strategies to parents/caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and data.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
