Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to join our team of professionals providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will build trusting relationships with children and families, implementing evidence-based interventions to promote skill development, independence, and improved communication, in a supportive and growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and accurately document progress.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Collect data and track progress to evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and home strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance ABA therapy knowledge and skills.
