Job summary

Yes ABA Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver personalized behavioral health services and implement evidence-based care plans for clients with developmental disabilities and ASD. The role emphasizes empathy, data-driven treatment, and collaborative teamwork in a supportive environment.

You will work with children and individuals to promote skill development, assist with ADLs, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while contributing to meaningful progress and family

Qualifications

• Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and behavior intervention strategies.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to engage clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral therapy techniques rooted in ABA to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to foster independence.
• Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Support teaching sessions tailored to individual needs, utilizing evidence-based strategies for skill acquisition.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with each client's goals.
• Provide patient care with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
