Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in in-person settings. The role involves implementing ABA-based interventions, collecting data, and supporting progress toward individualized goals under BCBA supervision.

You will collaborate with families and professionals, maintain confidentiality per HIPAA, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques and behavioral therapy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA documentation and records management.
• Ability to apply patient care principles and conduct assessments.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Background in special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake to gather relevant information.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and records.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
