Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN seeks a passionate Behavior Technician (Level 2 Provider) to join our growing team and provide meaningful, evidence-based ABA services to clients.

Under supervision, you will implement BIPs, deliver direct ABA therapy in home, community, or clinic settings, collect data, and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills. We value collaboration with families and a strong commitment to client growth and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Behavior Technician or related human services role.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with ABA, DTT, and naturalistic teaching.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations in Golden Valley, MN area.
• Calm, patient, and professional demeanor.

• Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, community, or clinic settings

• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Utilize positive reinforcement strategies and evidence-based techniques during sessions
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent support
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with agency standards

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Behavior Technician, DSP, paraprofessional, or in a related human services role
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Familiarity with ABA principles, discrete trial training (DTT), and naturalistic teaching strategies
• Strong data collection and documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in dynamic or challenging situations
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in the Golden Valley, MN area
