Job summary

The Kelberman Center is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA-based clinical skills instruction to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders across clinic, home, and school settings. You will collect data, assist with parent training, and support supervising clinicians with assessments.

Role requires documenting progress, maintaining communication with families and staff, and adhering to program regulations. A NYS driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AAS Degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a program or setting supporting persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Understanding of autism, behavior management, and cognitive delays preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).
• Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plan and use ABA to decrease challenging behaviors.
• Provide direct care in one-on-one and group settings.
• Collect and maintain data on academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training and with clinical assessments.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with families, staff, and supervisors.
