Job summary

The Kelberman Center seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA-based instruction and behavior reduction protocols for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. You will collect data, assist with assessments, and train families under supervision.

We value accurate documentation, clear communication with families, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to promote meaningful progress for clients in clinics, homes, and community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AAS Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a program or setting supporting persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Understanding of autism, behavior management, and cognitive delays preferred.
• Basic computer skills required (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans and ABA methods to decrease challenging behaviors.
• Provide direct care in one-on-one and group settings.
• Collect and maintain data on goals and progress.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training.
• Complete documentation per center regulations.
• Communicate progress to families and supervisors.
