Job summary

Ignite Child Development Services is seeking a Behavioral Technician to provide ABA-based skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols for children with autism in home, community, and school settings. You will collect data, assist with parent training, and support clinicians to implement plans.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities include client care, data collection, and collaboration with families and treatment teams to promote progress and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and 40 hours ABA training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, Speech/Hearing or related field preferred and 1,000 hours supervised experience with ASD.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group Direct Client Care using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist BCBA/Senior Therapist/Behavior Therapist with assessments and materials prep.
• Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with families and treatment team across home, school, and community settings.
