Job summary

Miracles Therapy Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis. Training is provided; no experience required. You will implement plans, collect data, and work with a team of BCBAs and caregivers to help clients achieve goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification preferred, not required.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Pass a background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by the supervising BCBA.
• Apply behavior-analytic strategies (DTT, Naturalistic Teaching, reinforcement) to support clients.
• Accurately collect data and submit session notes per UTC policies.
• Engage clients with positive reinforcement and professional communication to promote skill development and behavior change.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers for consistency across settings.
• Manage challenging behaviors according to plans and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; act professionally at all times.
• Participate in training and continuing education to improve skills.
